These communities will develop a strong collaborative and strategic focus, whilst considering the professional development needs of those teaching at Level 3.
Participants will:
- Explore effective structures and systems that support successful mathematics departments.
- Develop collaborative approaches to departmental improvement.
- Strengthen their ability to identify priorities and lead change.
- Deepen their understanding of the local and national mathematics education landscape.
Programme Structure
- Participants will join a collaborative professional learning community.
- Through regular meetings, they will work with peers from other schools and colleges to explore leadership, departmental culture and approaches to teaching and learning at Level 3.
Who should attend
- Existing Level 3 mathematics subject leaders, including Heads of Department, Deputy Heads of Department and Key Stage 5 Leaders.
- Participants should be able to represent their department and support developments within their institution.
