    These communities will develop a strong collaborative and strategic focus, whilst considering the professional development needs of those teaching at Level 3.

    What will you learn?

     

     

     

    Participants will:

    • Explore effective structures and systems that support successful mathematics departments.
    • Develop collaborative approaches to departmental improvement.
    • Strengthen their ability to identify priorities and lead change.
    • Deepen their understanding of the local and national mathematics education landscape.   

    Programme Structure

    • Participants will join a collaborative professional learning community. 
    • Through regular meetings, they will work with peers from other schools and colleges to explore leadership, departmental culture and approaches to teaching and learning at Level 3. 

    Who should attend

    • Existing Level 3 mathematics subject leaders, including Heads of Department, Deputy Heads of Department and Key Stage 5 Leaders.
    • Participants should be able to represent their department and support developments within their institution.
