    These communities will develop a strong collaborative and strategic focus, whilst considering the professional development needs of those teaching at Level 3.

    What will you learn?

    Participants will:

    • Explore effective structures and systems that support successful mathematics departments.
    • Develop collaborative approaches to departmental improvement.
    • Strengthen their ability to identify priorities and lead change.
    • Deepen their understanding of the local and national mathematics education landscape. 

    Programme Structure

    Participants will join a collaborative professional learning community.  Through regular meetings, they will work with peers from other schools and colleges to explore leadership, departmental culture and approaches to teaching and learning at Level 3.

    Who should attend

    • Existing Level 3 mathematics subject leaders, including Heads of Department, Deputy Heads of Department and Key Stage 5 Leaders.
    • Participants should be able to represent their department and support developments within their institution.
