School Development Lead Programme
This programme supports leaders of maths school development to enhance their leadership capacity and capability, enabling effective support for schools.
What will you learn?
- Develop knowledge of a range of maths school development strategies, including when and how to use them effectively
- Strengthen understanding of the evidence base underpinning school development and change management
- Design and lead maths development initiatives in schools, supported by programme learning and discussion
- Increase awareness of the skills required for the role and develop deeper self-awareness as a maths school development lead
Programme Structure
This programme includes:
- Regional workshops (face-to-face and online)
- Practice development activities
- Participation in an online community
- Designing and leading a maths school development initiative
- Maintaining a reflection and learning log, alongside a record of the initiative
