  • Professional Development Lead Programme

    The Professional Development Lead Programme is designed for participants who are working with other teachers to enhance the teaching and learning of maths.

     

    What will you learn?

    • Design, lead, review and refine a professional development programme
    • Critically evaluate your professional development programme against intended outcomes
    • Identify key principles of maths CPD design and their implications for your programme
    • Recognise the distinction between teachers’ knowledge of maths and teachers’ knowledge of teaching maths

    Programme Structure

    This programme includes:

    • The equivalent of three one-day workshops (face-to-face and online)
    • Completion of an Accreditation Evidence Document to support critical reflection on learning and professional development
    • Designing, delivering, reviewing and refining a programme of support for maths teacher professional development
    • Use of a range of evidence-informed models and activities

    Who should attend

    Participants who are working with other teachers to enhance teaching and learning of maths
