What will you learn?

Develop an understanding of multiplicative reasoning and structures within KS3.

Support all students to reason mathematically and develop a deep and connected understanding of the maths they are learning.

Develop classroom practices aligned to those in the NCETM’s Essence of Mathematics Teaching for Mastery.
Who can take part?

Teachers working with Key Stage 3 students who want to improve their own practice and develop department-wide practice.

Suitable for both experienced and novice teachers.

Subject leader to attend the Subject Leader Community session.
What is involved?

Participants must attend three full days of workshops.

Complete school-based tasks between sessions.

Centrally produced resources include classroom-facing slides and teacher guidance.
-
Active engagement with the teacher guidance and materials is encouraged for maximum benefit.
