This programme supports teachers to develop understanding of multiplicative reasoning and strengthen classroom practice across Key Stage 3.

- Develop an understanding of multiplicative reasoning and structures within KS3
- Support all students to reason mathematically and develop a deep and connected understanding
- Develop classroom practices aligned with the NCETM’s Essence of Mathematics Teaching for Mastery
Programme Structure
This programme includes:
- Three full days of workshops
- School-based tasks between sessions to support implementation
- Centrally produced resources, including classroom-facing slides and teacher guidance
- Active engagement with guidance and materials to support classroom practice
Who should attend
- Teachers working with Key Stage 3 students who want to improve their own practice and develop department-wide practice
- Suitable for both experienced and novice teachers
- Subject leaders should attend Subject Leader Community sessions
