    What will you learn?

    • Develop cultures and practice in their school to enable a higher proportion of students to achieve high grades in GCSE maths and progress to study maths at Level 3.

    • Develop knowledge and pedagogical skills which enable equitable access to the most demanding secondary maths topics for all students.

    Who can take part?

    Participants’ schools must commit to:

    • Releasing them to attend all Work Group sessions.

    • Allowing them to develop their practice in their classroom and share this with departmental colleagues.

    • Allowing their students to participate in additional AMSP activities to support higher attainment in maths.

    What is involved?

    • Participants will explore effective pedagogical approaches which enable all students to access and deeply understand the content.

    •  Participants will be expected, where appropriate, to work with colleagues within their own department.
